And for use on a patio or deck, the grooves on the underside of the base allow you to neatly tuck in wires for a simple and professional-looking installation. Designed to blend in with backyard greenery, you may hardly notice them when placed within your landscaping. The FS51 require either a traditional stereo / home theater amplifier or something like the SA-5 to power them. These speakers can be installed in the ground or on hard surfaces. 1y It does not connect to a Lifestyle at all.And a domed grille resting over that port reflects high-frequency tones across the listening area. Bose Free Space 51 speakers are our best performing outdoor speakers for placement in the garden, on the deck or on the patio. I recommend these speakers to anyone who is buying a speaker system.Bring the subtle nuances of your favorite music to life in outdoor environments where wall mounting is not an option. It is a bit pricey for my taste, however, for something that has such amazing quality, durability, and effectiveness, I will gladly pay the extra amount. The only slight knock I have on the Bose speakers is the price. In describing one of its great features, I already led into another great quality! It is very compact and takes up very little space, leaving a person with tons of other space for things to augment the speakers, such as stereos, computers, televisions, etc. Where do I begin with all of its fantastic qualities? Well, for starters, it produces a great amount of sound from such a compact set of speakers. This new speaker from Bose is no different. There is a reason for that, as Bose has constantly produced quality systems at reasonable prices. In terms of the peaker/stereo industry, Bose is a name that is first off of most people's tongues. I can't say enough about how much I love these speakers and their output!!! **We bought these SEVEN years ago** and they are still going strong!!! And while the price tag is high, it is WORTH EVERY PENNY, especially when it comes to a 10 year warranty (unheard of on electronics these days). all through our head unit in order to have it support a variety of uses outside. And we can hook up our mics, mp3s/ipods, cd/dvds, ect. We didn't have to take additional power or speaker wire through our yard as other options would have had us do. I bought 2 of them and placed them in just the right places in my yard to get 360-degree sound throughout my ENTIRE property. Other speaker systems just post up to the back of the house but for a large lot that isn't enough. Whether it was gardening in the back of my lot or hosting a party in the backyard (which is 3/4ths acre of grass) I couldn't get a consistent level or ended up with poor quality sound. I live on an acre of land and was always having trouble with playing music/sporting events when I was outdoors so that I could hear it throughout my property. True BEST Outdoor Sound - Bose FreeSpace!!! its worth the money and i think you should invest in it. though im not a big fan of spending to much money on wires, i think its better if you do for this product because of the amazing sound it gives out. sometimes i dont understand the price diference between these expensive cables but ui think its the worth the money because of the output it puts out and the sweet sound. like everyone says cable doesnt matter but for these speakers i noticed that better cables are the way to go because you can actually tell the difference. it just needs a nice reciever and an expensive amp and i think you are good to go. that way i could add when ever i had money to spend because if i buy the whole set at one time then it is expensive because i have no money currently, but besides that the system sounds sleek. so then what i did was buy the spaker one at a time. I first bought the set back in 06 and found that the set was too much to carry.
